WWC22: Watercoloring plus Silhouette

Pretty exciting on the heels of our recent blog hop.

Our challenge this week is Heidi's "Combination Challenge";
combining watercoloring with silhouette.  It's really a cool
combination that allows for lots of different interpretations.

For my card, I smooshed some ink pads on a piece of
Watercolor paper.  I spritzed it with water and then
ran it through the big shot in the Beautifully Baroque
embossing folder.  The colors were a tad too pale,
so I strengthened them by adding more color with an aqua painter.
I let that layer dry and then gold embossed the edges.

The sentiment from From My Heart (p 106) was embossed
on a Window Sheet with Gold Embossing Powder.
The Window Sheet was attached with glue dots,
which really don't show at all.   Add some
Gold Ribbon (#134547 on p 206) and Gold Sequin
Trim (#132983 on p 206) and you're in business.
I think I was feeling like gold the day I made this!

Artists have done with this challenge!

Jackie your rendition of this combination challenge left me speechless. How elegant and rich this card is. Absolutely love everything about it, including the gold ribbon. Thanks for the tip about embossing on the window sheet to add the sentiment, wouldn't have thought of that, so it's nice to see an example. Thanks for sharing your beautiful card.
