WWC-34 Ombre Effect Challenge

Welcome to another Watercooler Wednesday Challenge!
I love the Ombre Effect technique and the holidays are a
great time to give it a try!  Thank you Jean, for the great challenge.
My card uses the Happy Scenes set on page 11
of the Holiday Mini.  This set is so beautiful, and flexible
that I highly recommend it.  You can make serene cards
or scary Halloween cards, using a variety of techniques.
Speaking of techniques, I sponged the background on Shimmery White c/s, using Mint Macaroon (bottom), Soft Sky and Lost Lagoon.   I dribbled water on the ink afterwards.
The "dribbled water" technique will vary, depending
upon whether you use sponges or daubers to apply the ink.
Since daubers enable more thick/intense layers of ink,
your "drips" will be more pronounced.   The tree is Tip Top Taupe with new adhesive applied over the ink,
to give it  a 3-d appearance.

So now please click on over to our Watercooler Wednesday
challenge site and check out what the other wonderful artists
have done with the Ombre Effect.
And be sure to try this cool technique and
enter our challenge by linking up your card!

Jackie, I was getting my post ready for the blog hop and tested the link to your page and saw this beautiful card. When I have a chance I will be back to look through your blog more in depth. Just the few minutes I took to look impressed me! TFS
