Stamp Off Beautiful You Tic Tac Toe

Hey friends, it's Stamp Off Friday with Susan, Buffy
and Jackie.  Despite cloudy skies here in Dayton,
we are rocking a good one!

Today is a tic tac toe challenge.  You draw a line;
horizontal, vertical or diagonal and use those products
on your card.   Of course here on Stamp Off Island,
we are flexible, so no one is "kicked off the island"
for wiggling the rules a bit.

For my project, I drew a horizontal line across the middle
and used In Color (Watermelon Wonder and Delightful Dijon), Textured Impressions Embossing Folder (new Hexagons Dynamic Textured Impressions) and an SAB item (3/8" Metalic Ribbon Combo Pack on p 11).

I used the ever popular Beautiful You set on page 24 of the
Occasions catalog.  The focal image was cut out with the
Stitched Framelits and layered on a black oval cut out with
the Layering Ovals Framelits on page 193.

Many people are stamping the women from Beautiful You on to Designer Series Paper and then cut out the patterned dress, attaching it on to the focal image.  I didn't use this technique,
because I'm too lazy to keep cutting out dresses.  Instead,
I stamped the dress pattern.  So how did I stamp the dress
pattern?   I made the negative template, shown above.
I stamped the girl on scrap printer paper,
cut out the dress portion and then laid
this over my focal image.  This allows you to use your stamps
to create whatever dress pattern and color scheme you want.
I need to make more samples, using this strategy, and
will share them when I get the time.  I envision checks using
Awesomely Artistic (p 144) or stripes produced with
Gorgeous Grunge on page 123.  The zig zag from
Work of Art (p 122) might also be fun!

Now please click on over to see what Susan and Buffy
have done with their Tic Tac Toe projects.

Lastly, please say some prayers for a stamping friend,
Christine, who is in the midst of a medical crisis.
Prayers heal and would be appreciated.

Jackie, I love how you stamped the dress! I have not seen that done once so it is a new technique for me. I love it! I absolve that you used the Hexagon Embossing Folder. So many people use it for a masculine card but it fit perfectly with your card. Beautiful!
PS: Happy Anniversary! 🎉🎈❤️

What a clever idea for stamping the dress, Jackie! The pattern works great with the hexagon embossing too.
