Stamp Off Up & Away Thinlits

Welcome to our 2017 edition of Stamp Off Challenges
with Susan, Buffy and Jackie.  I think it's going to be
a great stampin year!
Today we are doing a LOVELY color challenge.
These 3 colors are totally in my wheel house, as they
blend so well, given a hint of gray.
For this challenge, I had to pull out my Lift Me Up stamp set
with coordinating Up & Away Thinlits (bundled, you save 10%).
That balloon is so much fun when you need to show off
a beautiful color combination.  This was the first bundle
I purchased from the new Occasions catalog, because it
has so much potential in terms of techniques, color coordination,
and flexibility for different stamping and scrapping needs.
It is a bundle that will fill your needs, whether you are
a vintage or CAS stamper.
The textured impressions embossing folder on the Perfect Plumb
layer is Seaside, on page 195.  I find this Embossing folder
to be one that I pick up constantly, because it does such
a nice job of simulating wind, waves or air currents.
It is just what a beautiful balloon requires.

Now please head on over to see the lovely projects
offered by my friends Susan and Buffy.

Hey, Chick SAB with Watercolor Pencils!!

Welcome 2017 and the new Occasions and SAB catalogs!
For the next couple weeks, you'll see samples and videos
of new products.  Or, you can click on over to the
Stampin' Up YouTube channel and check them out
for yourself! SU has a huge selection of videos,
showing techniques and samples of the new products.
Since SAB starts today, I thought that I'd share a sample
of my fav SAB set,  Hey, Chick, on page 16.  This is such a
smart, sarcastic, cute set, that it was at the top of my list.
The other reason I wanted it, was because I could color it
Here is a video to check out, introducing these
cool new coloring tools!!

SAB Inside the Lines DSP

Stampin' Up! is starting the new year with new Occasions
and SAB catalogs.   This card is made using the FREE
(with $50 merchandise purchase)
SAB Inside The Lines Designer Series Paper.
It is black and white paper for coloring!  In this example,
I colored it with the new SU Watercolor Pencils.  They
are found on page 24 of the Occasions catalog, but very
easy to miss as you are paging through.  They are
wonderful pencils, that are soft and easy to blend with
your aqua painter, blender pen or Wink of Stella.
