Stamp Off In Color Challenge

I know, many of you check my blog, just to affirm
that it is Friday, specifically Stamp Off Challenge Friday!
Today, we officially begin using the new 2017-18
Stampin' Up! catalog.  In honor of this new catalog year,
Buffy, Susan and I are having an In Color Challenge.
We have 5 new In Colors, so we are mixing them up
today, in order to get to know the new line-up.

I will have to say that my favorite new/returning catalog
product is the Glossy White Cardstock (p 194).
Glossy cardstock enables so many different techniques.
It also is much easier to sponge color on to glossy,
because you can "buff out" lines or unintended marks.

In this example, I used 3 In Colors (found on page 184); Berry Burst, Flirty Flamingo and Tranquil Tide.  I also
sponged on some Pool Party, which coordinates perfectly
with Tranquil Tide.  It is a tad difficult to photograph
Tranquil Tide, as it wants to look Basic Black!

The images come from the Awesomely Artistic set on page
153, with the sentiment from Butterfly Basics on
page 149.  I embossed the leafy image with the White
Stampin' Emboss Powder on page 201.

So now please click on over to check out the cards
offered by Buffy and Susan, to see what In Colors
they used!

Botanical Blooms with Retiring DSP

My final card for this catalog year is a card made
with one of my favorite Bundles; Botanical Blooms (p 142)
with Botanical Builder Framelits (p 194).  I am
feeling the loss because this is such a creative product
bundle!  The background oval comes from the
Festive Birthday DSP pack and was cut out with the
Stitched Shapes Thinlits Dies.

The background DSP comes from my favorite
Urban Underground DSP pack in the Occasions Catalog.

Custom Tee Packer Shirt

I can't close out the Occasions Catalog season, without
sharing one more card made with the Custom Tee set
and coordinating T-shirt Builder Framelits Dies (p 30).
I think at this point, I have a sufficient collection of
Green Bay Packer birthday cards for my family,
for the coming year!  I admit that I have way too much
fun making these cards, knowing that they will be
the perfect acknowledgement of masculine birthdays!
